Question by Dr. Emmett Brown: GMC sierra with hypertech power programmer installed. Need to uninstall but cannot find tuner. Options?
I’m definently not wanting to purchase another unit to uninstall and I’m not sure that would even work due to the truck having software currently installed. Trying to weigh my options here and I have not looked up any info or called hypertech yet bc I just realized it’s missing. I plan on contacting them tomorrow but I’m new on here and can’t resist asking. Thanks motorheads.

Question by Eric N: I want to upgrade to a diesel for towing our travel trailer. Need real world fuel economy numbers?
I am considering buying a diesel to tow our trailer. Can anyone tell me what they are getting for mileage out of 06-07 cummins (5.9 OR 6.7) Powerstroke (6.4 or 6.0) or Duramax 6.6. Would love to know what you get solo AND towing (and how much you tow) Are your numbers with or without a programmer like bullydog … THANKS!

Question by Uncle Gonzo: If I put a performance chip on my Dodge 2500 diesel, do I need to put on a 4″ exhaust?
I have a K&N air filter with a cold air box, but I didn’t know if it would cause problems if I left on the same exhaust. The chip will give about 90 more horsepower.
It is a 2003 model.

Question by Claudehopper: I need help!!! I recently installed a ts performance chip in my 7.3L Ford Diesel?
And it will start and my engine is fine and everything but my RPM gage will not respond and my glow plug light will not go off. I have tied cleaning the thing several times but still doesn’t seem to help. When I unplug the chip everything works? Is it me or the performance chip?
