Question by hemconst2: Duramax injectors and overall performance?
I have a 2003 Duramax Silverado. Like the truck but have had some injector problems. Thinking about upgrading. What is everyones experience in the newer Duramax diesels. Looking at a 2008. I think they have been upgraded since my 2003 so wondering what peoples experience has been with this enging like in 2006-2007-2008 models.
Yes- I know they extended the warranty out on the injectors on my 2003 model to 200,000 miles. I replaced them at 94,000-again at 144,000-and a third time at 184,000. I was more interested in the newer models and if they have the same extension on injectors on those models.

Check with the dealer on the inj. I know they extended the warranty on the injectors. I can’t remember for how long.
