Question by Alien: Does adding a performance chip to your diesel pickup decrease its life?
I want to put an Edge performance chip on my Duramax. But I’ve heard that it decreases the engine’s lifespan by a lot. Is this true? and if so, why?

Not sure about the engine life, but my son put one in a Ford
F-250 7.3 L and did it ever help it!! Quicker throttle response, quieter running with LOTS more power and more MPG.
