Has anybody ever tried any type of computer programmer for better gas mileage?Like Hypertech or the Edge programmers? Do they work for a couple extra mpg?This truck is bone stock and im not really lookin for more power just fuel economy.Thanks.

yes…….there are several on the market that will do the job……investigate all your options on the net………some are better than others…….

Either of those, and even the Superchips programmer. The problem with progammers, is that generally the extra MPG’s are offset by the newfound power and lack of self control. That is what screwed my F150 when I chipped it.
Also, alot of people cant seem to justify spending the large chunk of money for the programmer to improve MPG’s by such a small amount.
So, yeah, your mileage could go up, how much depends on how you drive. You might be better off just changing your driving habits for free, and keep the $ 350-450 in your pocket.
