Unit was easy to install and operate. Custom dash mount looks and fits great. Switching between programs was easy, but make sure you follow the on and off key instructions or it will lock up. Economy mode gave me 1.2 additional mpg’s from 15.2 to 16.3. Economy mode performance was same as factory. Tow mode is great, pulling my boat I went from 12.5 to 15 mpg’s as well as had tremendous performance gains on hills and passing. Extreme mode with 93 octane gave second scratch on smooth pavement and amazing performance on a punch. Unit is definitely worth it if you tow anything heavy. Extreme mode is a lot of fun if every so often you feel the need for speed.

Neat little gadget here i put on my 04 f150.The only performance i can see that this thing made is the difference in shift firmness(tow mode).I originally bought it for better gas mileage.I really couldnt tell a difference in any of the modes for better gas mileage.I even wrote to Edge and asked them if it was suppose to give better mpg and they stated that it only gives 0.6-0.8 mpg gain.It does have a bunch of cool features,most of which i didnt need.Heck my dash has all the gauges i need already.It does seem to be high quality and made well but truthfully i think its just a novelty item.This product would probably work well if you tow a lot or have large tires but i dont have either.My towing is just a small trailer and lawn mower so i dont think i need this for the price.I ended up taking it out and reselling it.It just aint worth the tall price tag for the minimal mpg gain and for a daily driver.

I ordered a programmer for a 2006 GMC and they shipped a module for a 2006 Ford. I called customer service and I guess I got someone in India as I had a hard time understanding them along with the fact the customer service agent was having a hard time with the english language. I was very specific as to what the problem was and what I needed in return. Well guess what….they shipped the wrong part again. I again went thru the hassle of calling customer service and finally found someone who had a good command of the english language. It was agreed that Amazon.Com would accept a return of the unopened product and refund my money. So 2 wasted trips to UPS to return the product plus the time I spent dealing with Amazon.Com customer service I still don’t have what I wanted. I will not do business with Amazon.Com again until they clean up their act.
