sounds good at idle but not so good reving
sounds great. I always thought flowmaster and magnaflow are the best. I have flowmaster on my truck. But corsa makes a nice exhaust too. very impressive.

Yes and no. The programmer gets a little higher revs and the intake does make it breath better but both do not increase it enough to much sound louder. I did install the intake first and the engine was noticeably louder. The factory intake, like many are, is very restrictive to keep the noise levels down in the cab. But make sure you get a dry filter kit so non K&N. The oils can coat the intake and void the warranty but only if the dealership wants to be a dick.
does the pefromance intake and edge programmer help with the sound?? cause that sound sawesome.
8.7 according to the track test I can run with the programmer.

shit tell me about it i dorve my dads escalade with the 6.2L an as heavy as it is that fucking thing still throws u in the seat. the 6.2L is amazing cant wait to see what it will do in the extended cab 2wd silverado’s
From 2007-2008 the Vortec Max uses the 6.0L. The new 2009 use the same 6.2L Denali/Escalade motor making it king of factory truck Horsepower for now. Also comes with a 6 speed tranny. 403HP, 417lb-ft. with spanking standard!

You can now get corsa db series mufflers by themselves. I got 1 muffler for $168 shipped then $20 to have it welded in. That is money well spent and owns flowmasters. Later on I will put on a better tip for $100, I don’t want a cheap $30 tip.
corsa is still up and running, just change of ownership. A private company bought them out but same people still works at it. They will not be closing doors.

I did. I talked to the corsa tech though and they told me it wasn’t necessary. You adjust the pipes before torquing them down anyways. Also the 2 part numbers it asks for are the same part with 2 different numbers. Not a bad install if you’re doing it. An extra set of hands and a saws-all helps a lot though.
Sounds awsome!! I plan on buying the same duel rear system for my 07 silverado 4.8 and was wondering if you had to install an exhaust hanger for rear driver side pipe?
