Question by Nick: What modifications do I need for a Programmer for my Duramax?
I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado HD Shortbed Crewcab with a 6.6L Duramax. I wanted to know what I need to put in a programmer. I have the air intake, do I need to change the exhaust? Straight pipe or dual? And anything else?

Just make sure you have plenty of cash when you blow out your injectors from those worthless programmers from raising your fuel pressure higher. But save over $5,000 to replace them all & if you have the first design engine where the injectors are inside the valve covers, save a little more if you destroy the engine from too much diesel in the oil pan & thins out the oil
So on the first design your looking at about $8,000+ for what—40HP-60HP
Not really worth the price plus the cost of the programmer
