You should get out more..
We spin stock duramax’s past 5000 rpm’s all day. The bottom end’s will handle it fine. It’s the valve train we need to address when we want to spin higher. On fully built engines with rod’s, piston’s and valvetrain upgrades we’ve seen 6000rpm.
If you don’t know what you’re talking about, why even post anything?
i want to see a video of your truck revving to 5000 rpm’s. it would not hold together unless you have extreme internal work.
The Cheetah turbo has a great sound !
That’s pretty damn good for a bigger turbo. Just need to eliminate that one second of turbo lag. But the second it spools up…..SEE YA!

My stock turbo peaks at 35 psi according to my edge attitude monior when I turn it up on level 5 and get in it hard; but I have an 07 lbz (not sure why there would be such a large difference) Normal driving range is usually 5 – 15 psi

Who said that this was a stock Dmax? It makes 630hp/1147tq at the rear wheels.. Dyno tested… The truck will actually rev higher than 5000…
but there is no real need for it yet.
y is the red line all the way at 5000 RPM’S i thought a stock d-max red lines at 3200 RPM’s????
