just installed bluefin on my mini one had a problem installing it at first (because i had the door open
) , supposed to add 33bhp will have to see wot its like
just have my k&n induction kit to put on and it’ll be there
Does the bluefin ask you if you want to set a speed limit wen you are programming or not?
i have a vectra vxr turbo but how would i know if its been remapped/modded previously
it does seem incredibly fast as it is
@superchipsltd Yes, low capacity NA engine has not much to gain with a remap. A bigger engine like an V8 will gain more, but for a 2-litre engine bigger mods are needed, like a combo of intake + full exhaust + cams + Throttle bodies + ECU remap once everything else installed to take the mechanical mods into account for the remap. It is much more expensive to tune a NA engine than a turbo bhp per bhp.
I have a Scirocco 2.0TSI 200 DSG (My2009). AS the DSG is quoted as having a safe limit of 350Nm, I’m a bit concerned about that, as I have seen that your Bluefin remap for my car put a torque as high as 390 Nm, from the 280 Nm stock (215 bhp and 308 Nm for my car on dyno in stock form). Will the DSG withstand that? Or do you have some other remap at disposal with a lower peak torque, even losing aome bhp (240 bhp and 350Nm would be satisfactory for me)
@timmytoot72 The Bluefin for the ST170 gives a gain of 8 bhp according to Superchip’s dyno testing.
hi ive got a bluefin for my st170 what bhp gain does if give?
