I know a lot of guys that talk about putting stage 3 injectors or different intake kits and all this stuff, and how they chip their diesel trucks so they dump black smoke clouds that cover the whole street, but how exactly is this obtained? Could anyone point me to a source that explains how people do this to their engines? I’d like to have some beginning knowledge on how to beef up a diesel and get it to dump and pump more power into the engine. I know the basics of diesel engines, just not when it comes to high power and performance. Thanks!

Well first of I want to ask you is smoke really that cool. It pisses me off cause of these guys that are all about smoke, where do you think the emissions people are getting all their crap from I honestly believe that these smoke blowing dodge truck are not helping with all the shit we now have on the new diesel trucks. But with that said I drove a diesel truck for the past few years now and no its not stock I have it turned up just enough to put out a slight haze means my fuel is almost completely burned. If you really need the smoke putting new stage 2 or 3 injectors will provide alot of smoke but I would recommend putting a bigger turbo in to clean it up and keep your exhaust temp down that way you have alot of power and you won’t be feeding the emissions people smoke. I have never owned a truck that stayed stock for long and I used to think smoke was cool till someone asked me where I think the emissions people are getting their ideas from since then I changed my thoughts on smoke
