This fully enclosed intake system (GM) like the injection molded systems seal tightly to cold air sources from within the engine bay to ensure that only cold ambient air reaches the intake system. This intake is extremely efficient at only capturing cold air and in fact some of our intake systems produce intake temperatures equal to ambient air temperature. The intake system comes with the industries highest quality filter. Filters are manufactured under ISO 5011 specifications to ensure quality and they feature lifetime reusability.
