Question by roksoldier1: 2004 Ford F-250 Edge Evolution Programmer. HELP!!?
I just bought an 04 F-250 HD with the 6.0 Turbo Diesel. It already has an Edge Evolution Programmer. I think its the 1200 series. Anyway, it has settings for Tow, Extreme, Economy, Trans Only and Return to Stock. I was wondering which setting I should use driving through town and what the Trans Only setting does? Do I set the shift points or are there already pre set points? How do I change the display settings to show 1/4 mile times, MPG, and cylinder temp?

I would be carefull using programmers on the 6.0, has a lot to do with the notorious head-gasket failers for the 6.0. hope this answer helps. even better, this link takes you straight to the user manuel and you can down load it and/or print it

Ok i am 16 im saving up for a 6.6 LTR Duramax full size truck and im gonna buy it used and i was wondering how much horse power can i get it i slowly buy stuff for it first thing im gonna do is Put a bullydog performance chip in it and then i wanna put banks exhaust system with K&N intake put LB7 injectors. After that i wanna get it twin turbo charged or put a super charger on it!

First off, I hope you also got lots of money. Make sure you buy the second generation Duramax engine, the one where the injectors are located OUTSIDE of the valve covers.
The reason being, since your going to beef up HP & add a chip which ramps up the fuel pressure, YOU WILL BE REPLACING INJECTORS in these. They will leak, keep in mind these injectors usually range from 0.00-0.00 each. So keep that in mind when your broke down because of leaking fuel injectors. But if you were cheap & bought the old style duramax engine, the ones that are located INSIDE the valve covers, not only will you be buying injectors, but maybe engine parts as well.
